Former partner, Clyde & Pratt. Private practice representing clients in hundreds of lawsuits. Trials included matters involving real estate, debtor- creditor, personal injury, criminal and family law.

Co-counsel in the largest condemnation case in the State of Utah.

Real estate experience representing land owners, buyers, sellers, brokers, contractors, developers, and government agencies involving real estate condemnation, acquisition, development, construction claims, commission payment disputes, conveyances, sale closings, title searches and opinions, zoning and local government requirements for development, contract disputes, defaults and foreclosure proceedings, easements, rights-of-way, financing, boundary disputes, filing of liens, construction failure, taxation, water rights, valuation . Matters before the Board of Adjustment, environmental concerns and leasing.

Represented hundreds of families to obtain relief from debt, primarily through Chapter 13 debt adjustment, asset protection and reorganization through the federal courts. Involved negotiation with creditors, foreclosures, repossessions and filing bankruptcy proceedings.

Law Clerk to the Chief Justice, Utah Supreme Court. Research for and drafting of Supreme Court opinions.

Past Chairman of Condemnation section and member of Executive Committee of Young Lawyers Section of Utah State Bar Association.

Legal representation of government agencies including Salt Lake City Corporation, Central Utah Water Conservancy District, Salt Lake County Water Conservancy District, and local improvement districts. Representation before legislative committees and at regular public meetings.

Assistant Attorney General, State of Utah. Was trial counsel for Department of Transportation, Weber State College, State Building Board, Industrial Commission, Department of Social Services and Liquor Control Commission. Drafted bills for State Legislature.

Deputy, salt Lake County Attorney. Criminal prosecution and representation of abused children.

United States Army Medical Corps. Section chief during active military duty.
